Difference between Live Photo and Live Wallpaper
Live Photo is a special image format that contains both video and static photo. Unlike regular photos, Live Photo plays video when displayed, providing users with a richer visual experience.
LiveMem provides the ability to freely and conveniently create Live Photos, including unlimited video duration and size. However, if you want to set a Live Photo as a Live Wallpaper, there are certain limitations on video duration and size.
Set Live Photo as Lock Screen Wallpaper on iPhone
In iOS 17 or later, you can select a Live Photo as your lock screen wallpaper, so this image will play every time you wake up your device.
After creating a Live Wallpaper in LiveMem, save the wallpaper to the system album. Then open the "Photos" App, select the wallpaper, swipe up and tap the share button, find "Use as Wallpaper" and tap it, then follow the prompts to set it.
You can also add a Live Wallpaper directly in Settings:
- In the "Settings" App, tap "Wallpaper".
- Tap "Add New Wallpaper".
- Tap "Photos".
- Tap "Live Photos".
- Tap the Live Photo you want to use on your lock screen.
- Customize your Live Photo wallpaper. If you want your Live Photo wallpaper to play automatically when you wake up your phone, make sure the play button is turned on.
- Tap "Add".
- Tap "Set as Wallpaper Pair" to use the new wallpaper on both the lock screen and home screen. If you want a separate home screen wallpaper, tap "Customize Home Screen" and set a second wallpaper.
